VUI Labs pricing is in USD. Text to Speech is based on weighted character usage, and Voice Cloning is charged per successfully created custom voice.

Character counting
- Each Chinese character counts as two weighted characters. Every other Unicode character, including letters, digits, punctuation, and spaces, counts as one. Line breaks are not counted.
For example, Hello! counts as six weighted characters.
TTS charging order
- Available free TTS characters are used first.
- The cost of the remaining characters is charged to the account balance.
- The Console shows free usage, paid usage, and final charges.
The 10,000-character registration grant is a usage quota, not a cash balance, and cannot be withdrawn or refunded.
Failed requests are not billed if they do not generate usable audio.
Voice Cloning charging
- Available free Voice Cloning uses are used first.
- Each successful custom-voice creation after the free grant costs $3 from the account balance.
- The Console shows Voice Cloning usage and charges separately from TTS character usage.
The 5-clone registration grant is a usage quota, not a cash balance, and cannot be withdrawn or refunded.
