Get your API key

Create an account and a project, generate an API key, and make your first request.

1. Create an account and project​

  1. Create a VUI Labs account.
  2. Open Developer → Project Spaces.
  3. Create a project or select an existing one.

2. Create an API key​

In the selected project space, open API Keys, select Create API Key, give the key a clear name, and copy the generated key.

Keep your key safe

Never share your API key or add it to public source code.

3. Configure your API access​

The examples in these docs read the API address and key from the following variables:

export VUILABS_API_BASE_URL="https://api.vuilabs.ai"
export VUILABS_API_KEY="your-api-key"
